Local Things To Do QR Codes


As we head towards the next high season in the UK Placer have been working to find new ways to help Airbnb hosts partner with brands and attractions for mutual gain.

To this end we are introducing 'things to do' QR codes that feature local entertainment options for guests during their stay.

Our latest campaign is for GoApe, a national brand with close to 40 locations around the UK offering outdoor tree top adventure activities such as zip-lining and axe throwing!

Our system identifies if a hosts listings are within the specified drive time of the attraction location and if they have opted in to receive leaflets and QRs (an option when you set up your listing on Placer). If they are then the listing will be opted in to the campaign and the QR will be sent to the chosen shipping address.

All hosts need to do is upload a photo of the QR in the listing to receive a £5 credit to their Placer account, and guests will appreciate the options for things to do in the area too, improving guest experience!
